Dr. Sunil Kumar
Dr. Sunil Kumar N K, has been serving as Consultant in the Department of Cardio Thoracic Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Global Hospitals, Hyderabad, since October 2007. He is richly experienced in providing anesthesia for CABG surgeries (for both beating heart and on–pump), valvular surgeries, pediatric and adult simple and complex congenital cardiac defect repairs, vascular surgeries, lung surgeries including one–lung ventilation. He also takes care of post–operative ICU management of cardiac cases.
Dr. Sunil Kumar had earlier worked as a Junior Consultant in the Department of Cardiac Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Apollo Hospitals, Dhaka, Bangladesh and Ad Hoc Consultant in the Department of Cardiac and Neuroanesthesiology at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science & Technology, Trivandrum.
He had also served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai, and in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, A. J. Institute of Medical Science, Mangalore.
A graduate in Medicine from Mysore Medical College (MMC), Dr. Sunil Kumar took his MD in Anesthesiology from Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, and did a Post–Doctoral Certificate Course in Cardiac and Neuroanesthesiology at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science and Technology, Trivandrum.
Dr. Sunil Kumar attended many national conferences, workshops, seminars and CMEs in Cardiac Anesthesiology and Neuroanesthesiology.
